Nothing much to say!

Not sure if it's this place, the climate, the people (probably a combination of all) that makes writing a diary entry on here a likely boring story to read for all you people back home! We've not got much to let you know about - weathers good, foods good, bed is a bit hard, sho is feeling a million percent better.

By the way, Rosa - the plug in mossy thing works a treat and is adorning the hut socket (albeit rather precariously as a result of the not so clever Goan electrical sockets!!) and seems to be repelling the dreaded mosquitoes!! Thanks very much Barry!

We're hiring a moped tomorrow and driving the quiet coastal road down to Palolem, apparently the most idylic beach in Goa. We're going to just scout the beach huts and enjoy the drive before probably relocating down there permanently on tuesday. Also, our friends from Pushkar are down there at the moment and have mentioned a fishing trip they're thinkng of doing which sounds like a good idea to us!! Had never really thought of doing anything like that!!

Anyway, as time ticks on, so does the money from our pockets, so we'll leave it there!

PS - Squeal - Hope youre working hard and saving your money for your trip!! Not long now hey! We'll do our best to catch up with you in singapore, even if only for a couple of hours before you fly out elsewhere!!

Gran Dobson - I am having cravings for the bacon sandwiches you used to make. Please can i put a request in for one (with the crusts cut off) and grilled tomatoes aqs well as a tomato cup of soup!.

Mum - Hope work was ok at the weekend!. Can't wait for a sunday roast!. Graet to hear about Andrea's house. Well done Steven and Dave!

Sounds brill in Goa, beaches sound fab, I'm hoping we get some gud uns in Bali, only 5 weeks to go! We'll have to have a singapour sling together! (Maybe not in Raffles tho!) Glad ur feelin a "Milion %" better Sho, be careful on the mopeds!! keep us all updated even if it is only the progress of your suntans! haha!

Glad to hear that you are having a nice time and that bug seems to have completely gone. Trip to market sounds great and the moped exploration could be a good idea.

Aunty Alison is going into hospital to have hystorectomy on Wednesday (as suffered a prolaps - dropped womb) She will have to take it easy for a while and will be off work for about 6 weeks. The doctor told her best to have it done before her trip to England. She is going to pass blog address onto Daryl who will try looking.

Nice weekend at work, did some reading and shopping. Have bought myself- for Mothers Day (next weekend) a garden trowel set of high quality half price at woolys so Andrea and yourself don't have to think about it. Its best to get what you want, as gardening season is looming.

Dave went to Newcastle and got a whole load of chicken leggs from Lowries for free and bonny is buisy wading herself through the cooked and de boned meat. Nice sunny day here and have been on the phone for three quarters of an hour free to Alison to discuss the world and her operation.

Everyone is interested in youur trip, and send their reguards.

How long in India now ? - I must look it up on the itinerary.

Hello to my two favourite globe-trotters! (pleased to hear that the other 'trots' have cleared up Shonah!!)
I've really enjoyed reading all your news and am really impressed by your commentaries regarding your journey and experiences. You both express yourselves very well, informative and funny too (maybe the stories I told you as a little boy Rich, "from my mouth", have helped!!
Your Mum, Dad, Max and I spent a few hours on Mappleton beach on Saturday, I think(!)Max enjoyed himself, we certainly did.
