Singapore!
24.04.2007 - 26.04.2007
31 °C
Well, my migraine eventually passed and I reckon it was easily the worst iv'e ever experienced!!
The flight to Singapore was uneventful and passed really quickly, with both of us buried in books at the moment that are making us laugh out loud. Theyre buy a guy called Irvine Welsh who wrote trainspotting - we'd reccommend them to everyone!
Anyway, Singapore is absolutely brilliant, if a little humid. Everything is unbelievably clean and efficient and largely air conditioned.
We got an excellent hotel room in a backpackers place - it's a little small but really clean, with air conditioning, balcony and a super comfy bed - with a proper duvet!! A real luxury. The room looks like something out of an ikea brochure!
Yesterday we spent wandering around the hundreds (literally) of shopping malls - even the smallest of which is massive compared to Princes Quay!!
Today we've been to Singapore zoo which was pretty cool. The animals all seem pretty happy which was something I was worried about.
Last night we went to Raffles and had the obligatory Singapore Sling which we have to say were excellent! (If a tad over priced)
Tomorrow we head to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on bus which should be cool.
Sorry the entries a bit quick today - the meter on this web session is ticking down quickly.
Hope you all like the photos. If you haven't checked them yet, then what have you been playing at?!
Love to all,
Rich and Sho

Hi you two, glad to hear you're back in the land of the living Rich, I was with you for that migraine!! However, your recovery must be due to the loving care you received from Sho, what a star!
So pleased to hear that Singapore is all that you'd hoped for, luxury compared to India I bet!
Was chuffed to see some more photos, really good ones too. You're both looking incredibly chilled and thoroughly relaxed, we're all hugely envious!
Less than 2 weeks now until our holiday & the small bed resembles a jumble sale with various items of clothing draped over it, can't quite decide what to take yet!
Bert & Averil arrived at your Nan's today so she'll enjoy their company. Hope the weather remains good so that they can get out & about a little.
The parcel hasn't arrived yet but i'll let you know when it does. Dad sends his love, he's just taken his mate for a run up the track, I don't know who enjoys it the most. Ruby is meanwhile snoozing happily on our bed, she does just as she likes!!!
Did you get the photos that James emailed you? There was a nice one in there of Ruby, plus Max of course!!
Well take care both of you, give us a call if you get the chance & enjoy Malaysia,
Love to you both xxxxxxxxx
