Thailand!!

Hello!

We left Koala Lumpur last night at 8.45pm and have reached Thailand finally!. We got to the coastal town of Krabi (West coast) today at about 5pm. The night on the train was very long. Rich slept a bit but i couldn't sleep till about 4am (and then only for 1 hour!). The train took 14 hours and the bus from Hat Yai took 4 so as you can imagine we are pretty tired!. However, we have just tried our first Thai beer - 'Chang' which is excellent but quite strong. We decided that we deserved a beer though after the journey!. Off to bed soon.
Tomorrow we have booked to go on the boat to the island of 'Ko Lanta' for some sand, sea and sun!

Note to Jayne and James:

We sent you an e-mail as we are now in Thailand. We head to Ko Lanta tomorrow (1st May). If you are around would be fab to meet up!. We are staying at 'Lanta Garden Home' on 'Klong Dao Beach' for 2 nights initially (North West of the Island). If your phone is working give us a text. Sho: 07921003369. Rich:07709348108.

Character...Eww, Rich you smelly poo give your shorts a good wash! We've done some washing here but they take forever to dry as its so humid. Can't believe you went on a 14 hr train, would have killed us 2! We're just enjoying life in Bali being lazy and sunbathing, move to NZ on friday, went out to Volcano and rice paddys yesterday, will send you some photos. Have fun in the land of Thai brides and lady boys,

I guess you stand those shorts up in the corner of the room each night eh!! You realise your reputation for cleanliness has gone up in smoke now Rich!! You've caused quite a stir!!

Averil & Bert enjoyed reading your blogs and looking at the photos, we've all agreed that we love the beard!

Hope Thailand is cool, well warm aswell!! Hope to speak to you before we leave for our holiday next Wednesday but no worries if you can't.
